The Casey Story
If you've watched any of our videos in the past couple years, you've likely heard some of Casey's music.
Music is a very difficult thing in the YouTube world given copyright issues, updating licenses and updating the means by which music is shared. This difficulty is why Casey's donations of SPECIAL instrumental versions of his music is so generous and so crucial to our YouTube channel.
So how did Casey come into the mix? A wild dream fulfilled!
Long ago, circa 2010, our volunteer critter webgeek, dg, managed the Bob Marley Facebook page. One of the regular posts back then was "Cover Fridays". She found a wonderful cover Casey had on his YouTube channel of "Concrete Jungle".
Impressed with the cover,she bought Casey's one and only album and it quickly became an all time favorite.
It remains as such even though Casey did not release another track until 2020. At which time, seeing him active again, dg contacted him and asked if he would like to be our channel musician. Lucky for all of us, he said yes! His donated original music truly adds great riches to our videos!
